10) Remove both ends of the
belt from the couplings.
Push the belt as shown to
force the wedge free of
the coupling block.
11) Tape one end of the new belt to either end of the existing belt with strapping tape,
as shown. Try to keep the gap between the belt ends close to the actual tooth
spacing.
