Setup 
To install the Digital BUS-WATCH® PC Software application suite, locate the setup file, 
Setup.exe, in the root directory of the installation media. Double-click the setup file to begin 
installation. It may begin the installation automatically upon insertion of the media if the host 
PC is set for auto-run. 
Follow the installation steps provided on-screen by the installation wizard to complete the 
installation of the software. As a hint just click the Next button whenever it can be pressed.

The Digital BUS-WATCH® PC Software Manual is intended to give an in-depth and detailed 
description of all the functions and capabilities within this software. This manual gives 
systematic procedures for system set up and configuration, with screen shots to help reference 
these settings. Looking for a simpler version, please reference the Quick Guide Series. These 
guides are designed to give fast and friendly step-by-step instructions to execute normal daily 
tasks. These Quick Guide Series, Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4 are available on the Radio 
Engineering Industries, Inc. website in the Downloads section. Please reference part number

Supported Hardware 
The Digital BUS-WATCH® PC Software is designed to show live view from the devices, 
playback, archive and converts video files created on the following devices (called DVRs): 
  SD40 – with H.264 video 
  R1001 – with .m65 video 
  R4001 – with .m65 video 
  R8001 – with .m65 video
