• From the home screen, press the MENU button. The screen will appear as follows:

SAVE BACK
Blackout mode is the first display setting. It allows the LCD backlight and/or the talk LEDs to be
disabled or “blacked out.”
There are four options: OFF, LEDs, BLGHT (backlight), and ON.
ON: both the backlight and LEDs will be disabled.
OFF: both the backlight and LEDs will operate normally.
LEDs: LEDs will be disabled or blacked out.
BLGHT: backlight will be disabled or blacked out.
• To change the blackout mode, press S
ELECT.
• Turn either encoder as shown above.
• Press SAVE to save the change or BACK to ignore it.
