STEREO A/B SWITCHING
The SW4 can switch stereo audio devices like mixing consoles. A common situation is switching between a mixing console for a live band and
a DJ setup in a night club. Stereo switching uses two SW4 channels where the left signals are connected to channel-1 and the right signals to
channel-2. The outputs from the two channels are connected to the power amps and speaker arrays. To further streamline the switching process,
the channels may be linked so that they toggle at the same time. This is discussed in the following section about linking channel switching.

LINKING CHANNELS
Channel linking is used when switching stereo or multi-channel
audio devices. Channels one, two and three each have a LINK
switch that tie the A/B switching to the next adjacent channel. The
LINK switch enables you to switch two, three or all four channels
by depressing the A/B select switch on the master channel or using
the optional JR•2 foot switch. Push the LINK switch in to activate.
Taking this further, you can use the SW4’s four channels to set up
several different stereo and mono switching confi gurations.
