Instructions for Use To operate the PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER, move the slide as shown in Fig. 1 until you see “ON”. You will hear a faint sound indicating that the PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER is running. To turn it off, move the slide in the opposite direction until you see “OFF” (See Fig. 2).

The PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER is versatile: 1. You can wear it on your wrist or ankle with the band provided. 2. Or carry it in a shirt or pants pocket, in a backpack, or in a baby buggy or stroller, by using the clip. 3. Or put it on a table or other surface.
For options 2 or 3, detach the PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER from the band, as shown in Fig. 3. Fig. 3. The PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER lasts forever, and the battery lasts for 8 months (average use 4 hrs/day). When in the “ON” position, it no longer emits a faint sound, replace the battery, as shown in Fig. 4. Be sure to deposit the used battery in a special storage or recycling container, according to the established laws and regulations.

FAQs In my PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER I hear a faint sound. The technology used in the PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER gives off a weak sound that can be heard from short distances. Does it work using ultrasound? The PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER model does NOT use ultrasound.
Only the batteries need to be replaced when they run out. How long does the battery last? The battery is estimated to last for 8 months when used for 4 hours a day. If used constantly for 24 hours a day, it is estimated to last for 40 days.
Can I wear the PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER in water? No. The mechanism could be damaged. The mosquitos won’t go away! Mosquitos might be observed in the surrounding area; however those would be male mosquitos, as only female mosquitos bite to feed on blood. My PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER doesn’t work. 1. Be sure that the battery is new and correctly inserted. 2. Check that the on/off switch is to the left and that the “ON” sign is visible.

Care and Maintenance Do not put the device in water or any other liquid. Cleaning. If you need to clean the PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER, use only a soft dry cloth, with no abrasive products. To clean the wrist band, detach the PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER first so that it does not get wet. Use water and neutral soap. Do not expose the PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER to extreme temperatures. It is recommended not to use it in places with temperatures exceeding 122 °F (50 °C). No refills.
Correct disposal of the PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER. Properly dispose of the device by depositing it in the corresponding container for its correct collection and recycling. RADARCAN® has a commitment to the care and protection of the environment. The PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER contains electronic components and it is necessary to dispose of the device separately from the containers where normal domestic waste is disposed of.
Warranty and extension of warranty THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. Register the PORTABLE MOSQUITO REPELLER at: warranty. radarcan.com and you will obtain a five-year warranty for the product since date of purchase. • RADARCAN® does not warranty a 100% effective shield against the spread of diseases that the insect could be infected.

Instrucciones de uso Para poner en funcionamiento el ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL, deslice la tapita como se muestra en la figura 1 hasta que observe el símbolo “ON”. Oirá un ligero sonido indicando que el ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL está en funcionamiento. Para apagarlo deslice la tapita en sentido contrario, mostrándose el símbolo “OFF” (ver figura 2).

El ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL es muy versátil: 1. Puede colocárselo en la muñeca o en el tobillo con la pulsera suministrada. 2. En el bolsillo de la camisa, polo, pantalón, mochila o cochecito del bebé, con el uso del clip. 3. Sobre la mesa o cualquier otra superficie.
Para las opciones 2 y 3 desacople el ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL de la pulsera como se muestra en la figura 3. Figura 3. La duración del ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL es ilimitada, y la duración de la pila es de 8 meses (con un uso de 4 h/día). Cuando estando en la posición “ON” deje de emitir un ligero sonido, reemplace la pila por otra nueva, según se muestra en la figura 4.

Preguntas frecuentes En mi ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL oigo un ligero sonido. La tecnología que utiliza el ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL genera un ligero sonido que puede percibirse a corta distancia. ¿Funciona por ultrasonidos? El modelo de ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL NO funciona por ultrasonidos. ¿Funciona con cualquier tipo de mosquito? Su eficacia ha sido probada y certificada con el mosquito común (Culex pipiens), tigre (Aedes albopictus), del dengue (Aedes aegypti) y de la malaria (Anopheles gambiae).

Solo las hembras de los mosquitos pican para alimentarse de sangre. ¡Mi ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL no funciona! 1. Verifique que la pila sea nueva y que esté colocada correctamente. 2. Verifique que el interruptor esté deslizado hacia la izquierda y aparezca visible el indicador “ON”. Acercando el ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL a su oído podrá oír un leve zumbido. 3.

Cuidado y Mantenimiento No introduzca el dispositivo en agua o cualquier otro líquido. Limpieza. Si necesita limpiar el ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL, utilice sólo un paño suave y seco sin usar productos abrasivos. Para limpiar la pulsera desacople antes el ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL para que no se moje y utilice agua y jabón neutro. No exponer el ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL a temperaturas extremas. Se recomienda no utilizarlo en lugares con temperaturas superiores a 50ºC. Sin recambios.
Si no va a utilizar el ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL por un período largo le recomendamos que extraiga la pila. Desechar el ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL correctamente. Deseche el dispositivo en el correspondiente contenedor para su correcta recolección y reciclaje. RADARCAN® tiene un compromiso para el cuidado y protección del medio ambiente. El ANTIMOSQUITOS PORTÁTIL contiene componentes electrónicos y es necesario desecharlo separadamente del resto de residuos domésticos.
