Changing User Name and Password
From the User Level menu you can change the current user name and password.
ASMi-54 supports two user names and passwords.
Table 4-8 lists the default user
settings supplied with the unit.

 To change the current user name and password:
1. Select Main Menu>Configuration>System>Management>Management Access.
The Management Access screen appears (see
Figure 4-9 ).
2. Select User Access.
The User Access screen appears (see
Figure 4-32 ).
3. Select User Level.
The User Level screen appears (see
Figure 4-33 ).
4. Select User Name, and enter a new user name.
The user name can be up to eight characters.
5. Select Old Password, and enter the current password.
The default is 1234.
6. Select New password and assign a new password of up to eight characters to
the new or existing user name.
The password is case sensitive.
7. Select Confirm New Password to confirm the new password.
If the new password is incorrect, an Illegal confirm password error message
appears. Reassign the new password.
8. Press <S> to save the changes.
The new password is saved.
