Tracing the Route
This diagnostic utility traces the route through the network from ASMi-54 to the
destination host.
 To trace a route:
1. Select Main Menu>Diagnostics.
The Diagnostics menu appears (see
Figure 6-24 ).
2. Select Trace Route.
The Trace Route menu appears (see
Figure 6-26 ).
3. Select Destination address and enter the IP address of the host to which
you intend to trace the route.
4. Select Display Trace Route to start tracing.
ASMi-54 starts tracing the route, displaying the IP addresses of all hop
nodes.
5. Select Stop Trace Route to stop the tracing.
