Physical Description
Figure E-2
shows the IR-ETH/Q Ethernet card. Four connectors are provided to
connect the Ethernet card to the top of the main module card. The IR-ETH/Q
Ethernet card contains a 6-section DIP switch.

DIP Switch Settings
Configure the IR-ETH/Q module by setting the DIP switch in accordance with
Table E-1
. Unlike IR-ETH module, the IR-ETH/Q Ethernet mode and filtering cannot
be controlled via the ASMi-52CD software and must be set via the SW-3 DIP
switch.

4 – Reserved for future use. Must always be set to OFF.
5 FD/HD ON – Ethernet bridge full duplex mode
OFF – Ethernet bridge half duplex mode
6 TRANS/FIL ON – Disables LAN filter; passes all frames transparently
OFF – Passes only frames destined for another LAN
