Installing the Interface Module
To install LRSI-F-14 into the LRS-24 hub:
1. Insert the LRSI-F-14 module in the upper section of the LRS-24F chassis
above the module, or the back section of LRS-24B.
2. Fasten the screws to secure the module to the LRS-24 frame for good
grounding of the module panel.
D.4 Connections
For IR-ETH card installation either a straight or a cross cable may be required to
connect the LRSI-F-14 DCE-1 (DCE-2) connector to the LAN. Use a cross cable
when connecting to a port that does not implement the crossover function
internally. Otherwise, use a straight cable.
Hubs usually do implement the crossover function internally while NICs and other
devices do not.
