DTE Interface
ASMi-52CD with 4-wire line interface supports the following DTE interfaces:
• V.35
• X.21
• RS-530
• E1 (G.704).
Both 2- and 4-wire versions support the following interfaces:
• IR-ETH (Ethernet bridge)
• IR-ETH/Q (Ethernet bridge with VLAN support)
• IR-ETH/QN (Ethernet/Fast Ethernet bridge with VLAN support)
• IR-IP (IP router).

lists the ASMi-52CD interface versions with their appropriate interface
modules and DCE connectors.

All DTE ports in the card must have the same type of interface.
Data Rate
ASMi-52CD supports multiple data rates (user-selectable) in the range between
64 kbps and 4608 kbps. Data rate depends on the following factors:
• DTE interface type of the local and remote units
• Line interface type (2-wire or 4-wire)
• Clock mode (internal or station).
Note
