The value of this parameter is obtained from your Frame Relay service provider.
EIR
Used to specify the maximum amount of data, in bits, that the Frame Relay
network will attempt to deliver during the measurement interval. The value of this
parameter is obtained from the Frame Relay service provider.

WAN Protocol Parameters – PPP Protocol Menu
The PPP Protocol Parameters menu is used to configure the parameters PPP WAN

To access the Protocol Parameters menu:
• From the Advanced Setup menu, type 3.
Header and Control Field Compression
Used to control the use of header and control field compression type according
to RFC 1661. It is strongly recommended that this compression be used for
troubleshooting only.
Protocol Field Compression
Used to control the use of protocol field compression type according to
RFC 1661. It is strongly recommended that this compression be used for
troubleshooting only.
Authentication Protocol
Used to select the authentication protocol used by an IP router configured as
host to validate incoming connections.
