Configuring Ethernet Port Parameters
³ To configure a Gigabit Ethernet port:
1. From the Ethernet menu (Configuration > Physical Layer > Ethernet), select
the port to configure.
2. Configure the parameters as detailed in
Table 4-1 .

Autonegotiation Defines whether port performs
autonegotiation.
Enable – Autonegotiation mode is enabled
Disable – Autonegotiation mode is

Max Capability
Advertised
Defines the highest traffic handling
capability to be advertised during
autonegotiation process. This is
configurable for only RJ-45 copper interface
ports.
