Monitoring the Physical Ports
You can monitor the following aspects of the physical ports on the Optimux-108:
• Management port status
• User port status
• Uplink status
• Channel status.
Monitoring the Status of the Ethernet Port
The Ethernet Status Screen displays the current status of the local or remote
Ethernet port.
To display the status of the Ethernet port:
1. From the Monitoring menu, select Physical Layer.
The Physical Layer menu is displayed.
2. From the Physical Layer menu, select Ethernet.
The Ethernet screen is displayed.
