This Chapter explains the MPW-1-specific troubleshooting and diagnostic
functions. These functions include:

4.1 Monitoring Performance
This section presents the MPW-1 performance statistics and status data relevant
to TDMoIP applications. For other monitoring tasks, refer to the
Megaplex-4100
Installation and Operation Manual
.
When using the Megaplex-4100 supervision utility, the performance monitoring
functions are accessed under the Monitoring menu.
MPW-1 collects the following types of performance monitoring and status data:
• For MPW-1 Ethernet physical ports:
Status data for each Ethernet port, and SFP data when the MPW-1
Ethernet ports are equipped with optical interfaces
Transmission performance statistics
When using the Megaplex-4100 supervision utility, the MPW-1 Ethernet
physical port performance monitoring functions are accessed after selecting
the desired module under Monitoring > Physical Layer > I/O > Ethernet.
