Configuring the VLAN Membership
You can assign bridge ports to VLANs, thus defining a VLAN membership for that
port. This section explains how to add, modify or remove a VLAN membership.
³ To add a VLAN membership:
1. In the LA-210 View window, select the System view.
2. On the menu bar, click Configuration > Bridge.
The Bridge menu appears.
3. First verify that VLAN Mode is set to Aware. To do so, in the Bridge menu,
choose Parameters.
The Bridge Parameters dialog appears, displaying the VLAN Mode
parameter (
Figure
3-26
).
4. Click <Cancel> to return to the Bridge menu.
5. From the Bridge menu, choose VLAN Membership.
A list of VLAN memberships appears.
6. Click <Add>.
The Add VLAN Membership dialog appears.
7. Specify the VLAN membership as detailed in
Table
3-17
and then click Set.
The new VLAN membership is added to the list and the dialog closes.

Parameter Possible Values / Remarks
VLAN ID Type the desired VLAN ID.
Tagged Ports Defines the set of ports to transmit packets for this VLAN as tagged.
Untagged Ports Defines the set of ports to transmit packets for this VLAN as untagged.
³ To edit a VLAN membership:
1. In the LA-210 View window, select the System view.
2. On the menu bar, click Configuration > Bridge.
The Bridge menu appears.
3. From the Bridge menu, choose VLAN Membership.
A list of VLAN memberships appears.
4. Select the desired VLAN membership and click <Change>.
The Change VLAN Membership dialog appears and the parameters can be
edited.
5. Modify the desired parameters as detailed in
Table
3-17
and then click <Set>.
The VLAN membership has been modified and the dialog closes.
