2.5 Using the Graphical User Interface (GUI)
From the LA-210 View window, you can configure and monitor all the LA-210
system elements.)
LA-210 View Window
The RADview-EMS/NGN LA-210 View window displays a dynamic graphical
representation of the LA-210 front and back panels. The view varies per LA-210
and per number of ports in the device:
Title bar
Main menu bar
Toolbar
LA-210 device (front and back panel views):
Front panel: includes several LEDs indicating statuses of power, Ethernet
links, and alarms
Back panel: includes AC/DC power connector, network and user Ethernet
ports, and V.24 terminal connector

The title bar (at the top of the View window) displays the name or IP address of
the element given on the Network station (SNMPc or HPOV) and whether the
device is connected or disconnected.

The main menu bar has drop-down sub-menus. Click a menu to display all the
items in that menu. The menu items allow you to perform operations related to
the selected elements in the LA-210 system. The menus are context sensitive;
menu items are enabled or disabled as applicable to the selected element.
In addition to using the menu bar, operations related to specific elements can
also be performed using pop-up menus activated by right-clicking the mouse over
the selected element.
