Fault Management
This chapter discusses how to manage faults and perform diagnostic testing for
the entire LA-210 system using RADview-EMS/NGN.
This chapter explains how to perform the following tasks:

Managing the Event Reporting for OAM (CFM)
• Managing the History Log
 Viewing the History Log
 Clearing the History Log
7.1 Managing the Event Reporting for OAM (CFM)
You are able to specify sets of reporting and response parameters for the OAM
(CFM) reporting. To do so, you have to access the OAM (CFM) service dialog from
the Fault menu.
³ To access the OAM (CFM) services:
1. In the LA-210 window, select the system.
2. On the menu bar, click Fault > Event Reporting Configuration for OAM (CFM)
Services.
A message appears that only proprietary OAM services are supported at
present.
3. Click <OK>.
The OAM Flow dialog appears.
In order to enable the event reporting for OAM (CFM), OAM Mode in the OAM
Flow dialog and Performance Monitoring in the OAM (CFM) Service dialog must be
enabled.
