Technician
The Technician can perform all of the Monitor level functions (such as those that
were just listed), and, in addition, is allowed write access to the following
(system level) LA-210 function:
• Clear the history log
The responses to disallowed actions, beyond the Technician level permissions,
are handled in the same manner as for the Monitor level.
Operator
The Operator is granted all of the permissions needed to perform any task
related to LA-210 management. The Operator can also perform all of the Monitor
and Technician level functions.
Administrator
The Administrator has all of the Operator permissions and, in addition, has access
to the RADview-EMS/NGN User Manager function (this function is not accessible
by the Operator). The Administrator can also perform all of the Monitor,
Technician, and Operator level functions.
6.2 Configuring Host Parameters
RADview allows you define a dedicated management VLAN and assign a priority
level to it. IP settings can be viewed from this screen, but must be configured the
terminal application or ConfiguRAD.
³ To configure host parameters:
1. In the LA-210 View window, select the system.
2. On the menu bar, click Options > Host.
The Host dialog appears (
Figure
6-1
).
3. Set the parameters fields as detailed in
Table
6-1
.
4. Click Set.
The parameters are set.
