Defining the E1 Parameters

To configure the E1 parameters for the source IPmux-11:
1. Double click on the desired IPmux-11 source (172.17.157.11) in the Mesh
Services Map (
Figure 4-4).
The Element Manager appears.

2. Select CH1.
3. From the Configuration menu, select Parameters...
The Interface Parameters dialog box appears (
Figure 4-6).
4. Select the following parameters:
 Transmit Clock Source = Adaptive
 Line Type = Framed-CRC.
5. Click <Set>.
