Managing IP Parameters
 To define host IP parameters manually:
1. Navigate to Main Menu > Configuration > System > Management > Host IP.
The Host IP menu appears as illustrated in
Figure 4-2.

1. IP Address ... (0.0.0.0)
2. IP Mask ... (255.255.255.0)
3. Default gateway ... (0.0.0.0)
4. Read community ... (public)
5. Write community ... (private)
6. Trap community ... (public)
7. Host Tagging ... (untagged)

2. From the Host IP menu, perform the following:
 Select Host IP List to define the IP address of the SNMP host.
 Select IP Mask to define the host IP subnet mask.
 Select Default Gateway to set the default gateway IP address.
3. Select Save.
The default gateway must belong to the same subnet as the host.
