Configure a Narrowband Redundancy Group
1. From the DXC-100 Main Menu, select
System Configuration
, then select
Nest
Profile

N+1 Redundancy Narrowband Group........: Octal T1/E1
N+1 Redundancy Broadband Group 1.......: HDS-3
Protection Switch Dual Broadband Groups: Yes
N+1 Redundancy Broadband Group 2.......: HDS-3

3. Carefully read each field on this menu, and set up your system based on your
equipment and software. To enable redundancy, select
Yes
on the
N+1
Redundancy Nest
field.
Octal T1/E1
(

) will be the
N+1 Redundancy
Narrowband Group
type, which is currently the only Narrowband Group type
available. Configure the Broadband Redundancy Group(s) as appropriate to
your application module configuration.
