Field Description
Frame Bit Errors:
(display field)
This field is a counter that records the number of frame alignment bit errors
that have been detected. This does not mean that synchronization has been
lost.
Trunk Conditioning:
(display field)
If trunk conditioning status is On and the control bits indicate a Red or Yellow
alarm is being received, the following occurs:
Receive data is disabled at all timeslots.
Idle code is written to corresponding slip buffer according to content of
each timeslot (data/voice).
If trunk conditioning status is Off, then no alarms are being received.
Far End Block Errors:
(display field) (E1 CRC and
E1-CAS-CRC Only)
This field is a counter that records the number of Far End Block Errors that have
been detected (Remote CRC errors are reported as FEBEs).
Clear Counters
You may elect to either clear the error counters for a specific link, or for all links.
There are no prompts for clearing the counters. All counters are cleared
immediately.

If you do not first press E (Expose) for the individual link before pressing C (Clear
Counters), ALL link counters will be cleared.
ESF Statistics
The ESF Statistics Display is a read-only display. It allows you to view both current
and 24-hour ESF Statistics. The Current Statistics column displays the counts for
the current time interval (maximum 15 minutes). The 24 Hour Statistics column
displays the counts for the preceding 24-hour period. The information has no
meaning in Clear T1/E1 Unframed mode.
ESF Statistics cannot be displayed for a D4-framed or E1 link.
