The information contained in each field on the screen is detailed in Table 4-8 on
the following page. Some of the fields are context sensitive, (e.g., the CRC errors
only appear for links that support CRC such as T1 ESF or E1 CRC). An error-free
link will display zeroes in all counter fields.
From the T1/E1 Link Status submenu, you can do the following:
Press C to clear counters for the selected link (refer to page 4-16).
Press S to view ESF Statistics (refer to page 4-16).
Press i to reinitialize the T1/E1 framer (refer to page 4-18).
Press R to view 15-Minute Performance Registers (refer to page 4-19).
Press G to view G.826 Statistics (refer to page 4-21).
You can also use keys 1 through 9 to insert errors from the NI side, which is then
shown on the remote side. If the remote side is line looped, the inserted errors will
be seen on the local side, under Errored Seconds.

Field Description
Link#: (display field) Displays the link number of the exposed link.
Name: (display field) Displays the user-defined name for the link, which was entered via the
Configuration Menu.
Error: (column) Displays the type of error for the specific T1/E1 link.
