Matching the Remote E1 Settings
If in your application a central ASMi-52 unit with the E1 interface operates opposite
a remote ASMi-52 unit, the E1 settings of the remote device are automatically
matched to those of the local modem (the Units Identical Setting value is
permanently set to YES). For applications with two ASMi-52 units, the Units
Identical Setting value of the local modem overrides the management commands
from the supervisory terminal.
For ASMi-52 units operating in G732S framing or in unframed mode, the Units
Identical Setting value is permanently set to YES.
To match the remote E1 settings:
1. From the E1 Port Configuration menu, select Units Identical Setting.
The Units Identical Setting value changes to YES.
2. Save the changes.
