2-2 Mounting the Rail Mount Unit ASMi-52 Ver. 2.8
The plastic and metal enclosures are also available in -20°–70°C (-4°–158°F)
extended temperature versions (by special request).
2.2 Package Contents
The ASMi-52 package includes the following items:
• One ASMi-52 unit
• Technical documentation CD
• Power connection accessories (depending on which power option was
ordered):
 Power cord (VAC) and AC/DC plug (-48 VDC)
 PLUG-DC/TB-S Terminal block kit (+24 VDC)
• CBL-RJ45/2BNC/E1 adapter cable for unbalanced E1 interface (if ordered)
• RM-33-2 rack mount kit for the plastic enclosure unit (if ordered)
• RM-35 or WM-35 rack mount kits for the metal enclosure unit (if ordered)
2.3 Mounting the Rail Mount Unit
This step refers only to the rail mounted ASMi-52. For instructions on rack
mounting of plastic and metal enclosures, refer to the Rack Mounting Kit for
19-inch Racks guide that comes with the RM kit.
³ To mount the rail mount unit:
1. Orient the spring-loaded rail mount bracket on rear of the unit toward the
rail.
2. Push the unit onto the rail to snap it into place (see
Figure 2-1 .)
