3. Select the Link (port) number.
4. Set the Test Type as one of the following:
 LLB - A loop towards the E1 link of ASMi-52 (in FPGA of ASMi-52)
 DTE-LLB - A loop towards the E1 link of ASMi-52 (in E1 framer of
ASMi-52)
 RLB - A loop towards the E1 link of ASMi-52 (in E1 framer of LRS-16)
 LINE-RLB - A loop towards the E1 link of ASMi-52 (in FPGA of LRS-16).
5. Set the Loopback Timeout to 1000 seconds, and press <S> to save the
changes.
6. After finishing the tests, select Test Type> Disable to disable all loopbacks.
7. Press <S> to save the changes.
Collecting Performance Statistics
This section describes performance statistics on the system and physical levels
collected by various LRS-16 counters.
Physical layer statistics are not covered in this section. For more information, see
Chapter 5 .
The status information is available via the Monitoring menu.
Displaying Alarms
The Active Alarms and History Alarms menus show alarm and test indications.
Active alarms are the alarms and events currently occurred. History alarms are the
latest alarms and events in the History buffer, including alarms currently being
occurred.
For a description of alarms, refer to
Handling Alarms section in Chapter 5 .
³ To display active alarms:
• Select Main Menu> Monitoring> Active Alarms.
The Active Alarms screen appears (see
Figure 7-21 ).
