The TFTP file transfer process is logged with the following system messages (see

Chapter 6

• TFTP – Starting Upload

• TFTP – Upload Failed.

LRS-16 checks network integrity by running a number of local and remote tests.

LRS-16 supports the local and remote loopbacks as per ITU V.54, initiated from

the supervisory terminal. All loopbacks start in the immediate vicinity to the link

and then proceed to the inner part of the unit. You can define loopback direction

(Local or Remote).

Running Local Loopback Tests

The local loopback tests (LLB and LLB-DTE) check the performance and data

connectivity of the local LRS-16 E1 link, the network site, and the connection

between them. The LLB can be performed separately on the local and remote

modems.

Timeout set to 0 (zero) is endless. Avoid setting timeout to 0 as the local control

is lost during LLB.

After finishing loop timeout, the screen cannot be refreshed automatically.
