5.4 Troubleshooting

to identify and remedy problems in unit
operation.

5.5 Performing Diagnostic Tests
The user-controlled test functions of ASMi-52 consist of the loopback tests and
LEDs test. The purpose of these tests is to determine the source of a break in
the data flow.
Both local and remote ASMi-52 units must be configured and synchronized
properly to allow remote loopback activation.
Only one loopback can be activated at a time, either on the local or remote
unit.
