configuration parameters mismatch. For example:
• The modems operate in the adaptive mode
(Line Prob is set to Adaptive Rate) and the
distance between them exceeds the maximum
range.
• ASMi-52 with a V.35 interface operates
opposite a remote unit with an E1 interface.
If the modem V.35 is set to the data rate
which is not supported by the remote unit,
e.g. 2304 kbps, the units will not synchronize.
