Accessing the Remote ASMi-52
Accessing the remote ASMi-52 is performed using a virtual connection with your
terminal physically connected to the local unit.
³ To access the remote ASMi-52
1. From the Monitoring menu (
Figure
4-38
), select Open Virtual Connection
(Main menu > Monitoring > Open Virtual Connection).
2. The Login screen of the second ASMi-52 appears.
3. Login to the second ASMi-52.
You now have access to the second ASMi-52 menus.
If no key press is sensed for a period of 10 minutes, the virtual connection closes
and you are returned to the initial ASMi-52.
³ To close a virtual terminal
From the Monitoring menu of the second ASMi-52, select Close Virtual
Connection.
The Main menu of the first
ASMi-52 is displayed.
