When a test is active, no other test can be activated for the current modem. For
details regarding loopback definitions, refer to
Section
5.5.
When setting a loopback connection from the terminal, both the SELECT MODEM
and LOOP & BERT fields determine the transmission path. For example, a remote
loopback (REM) from the remote (ASMi-52 standalone) modem sets a digital
loopback in the local modem (see
Figure
5-5
).
