Bridge Port Configuration
LA-110 supports up to 16 ATM Bridge Ports and one Ethernet Bridge Port.
The Ethernet Bridge Port is automatically created upon the setting of the LAN port
to work in Bridge mode (as opposed to Router mode).
In the Navigator, you can add new Bridge ports.
Basic tasks include:
• Adding Bridge ports
• Deleting Bridge ports
• Configuring Bridge port parameters
LA-110 MD supports the following modes for bridge ports: VLAN aware and VLAN
unaware.
Adding Bridge Ports
In the LA-110 Navigator, you can add new ATM Bridge ports for the LAN port, in
Bridge – VLAN Aware mode.
A maximum of 17 Bridge ports can be added. One Ethernet Bridge port always
exists and cannot be removed or added. 16 ATM Bridge Ports can be created or
removed at any time.

To add a new bridge port:
1. In the LA-110 Navigator, select the LAN (Bridge) port (VLAN Aware), right-click
and select Add Component > Bridge Port > Add Bridge Port.
The Add Bridge Port form opens.
