Loopback Test Activates a loopback test on the specified port
Local Loopback (LLB): Can be used to check the source of a certain problem.
Activates the local loopback on the local data port. Checks that the user's equipment
receives its own signal while the loopback is connected. If it does, the problem is
external.
Remote Loopback (RLB): Can be used to check the source of a certain problem. For
example, if there is certain alarm on a port, and if after activating the RLB the alarm
disappears, then the problem is external.
None: No Test.
AAL1 Stream Application Mode
In this application, the data stream at the selected data rate (n ׳64 kbps) is
transferred transparently. Therefore, the AAL1 stream mode supports any Layer 2
protocol and only one connection can be defined on the port.
Before you can begin configuring the Data Port - AAL1 Stream, you must first
configure the Data port application.
To configure the Data port application as AAL1 Stream mode:
1. In the LA-110 Node Draw, select the Data port, right-click and select Configure
> Data Port Application.

2. In the Port Application field, select <AAL1 Stream> to set the mode.
