Loopback Test Activates a loopback test on the specified port.
Local Loopback (LLB): Can be used to check the source of a certain problem.
Activates the local loopback on the local data port. Checks that the user's equipment
receives its own signal while the loopback is connected. If it does, the problem is
external.
Remote Loopback (RLB): Can be used to check the source of a certain problem. For
example, if there is certain alarm on a port, and if after activating the RLB the alarm
disappears, then the problem is external.
None: No Test.
4.9 Performance Monitoring
LA-110 collects statistics to enable performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
LA-110 features the following types of performance statistics counters:
Current: displays statistics for the current 15 minutes interval.
Intervals: displays statistics for the last 24 hours
Running: displays accumulating data on certain counter with no time limit.
LA-110 MD allows you to monitor the performance of all layers of the LA-110
ports, including:
Data FR
LAN
SHDSL
CES E1.
All performance monitoring parameters, as shown in the tables below, are
read-only.
Every Statistic form includes the following common fields at the top:
Last Update: Indicates the last time data was read from the agent.
Next Update: Indicates the next time data will be read from the MIB.
(Last Update + Delta).
Delta: Indicates polling interval, the number of seconds between updates.
