ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
STEP !: LAYOUT PARTS
Position the rack body flat on a table.
STEP 2:
Locate the six off-center holes. On the straight portions of the rack, insert the four flathead rivets so they protrude into
the rack’s interior. Slide a push nut onto each rivet and push toward the rack body so the rivets are held tightly.
Next, find the two off-center holes next to the curve. Insert the two round head rivets. Lock the push nuts as you did
above. The two centered holes on each straight side are mounting holes, not rivet holes.
HOW TO ATTACH YOUR POT RACK TO YOUR WALL
TOOLS NEEDED FOR INSTALLATION:
Provided: Installation hardware (anchors, bolts, wall screws and red sleeves)
You will need: level, tape measure, pencil, electric drill and ½” and 1/8” drill bits, hammer and nail.
STEP 1: LOCATION
Decide where you want to place your pot rack. Consider the height of the wall where the pot rack will hang, keeping in
mind how far below the rack your pots and utensils will hang, plus how high above your head you can still easily reach
cookbooks, etc. stored on the grid.
STEP 2: POSITION YOUR RACK AT DESIRED LOCATION:
Measure from the ceiling to the inside and outside corners of both sides to ensure it is level. Mark the centers of the 4
mounting holes. If you are working on a sheet rocked wall, drive a small nail as a test to determine if the wall is hol-
low or has a wooden support. If the sheetrock has no wood backing behind any of the marked holes, follow the in-
structions in the Toggler Kit bag for mounting into drywall.
STEP 3: INSTALL DRYWALL ANCHORS
RACK IT UP!’s drywall toggles eliminate the need to bolt your pot rack to a stud. The steel anchors are very strong and
when installed in drywall each drywall anchor holds about 200 lbs. Two anchors hold about 400 lbs., many times
the weight you will likely hang from your pot rack. See back of this booklet to install the Toggles and red
sleeve anchors.
Install in Wood:
If you need to install one or both sides of your rack in wood, use as many of the four wall screws (30A) included, but
without a red sleeve. See back page of this booklet under Step 1.
STEP 4: PLACE THE GRID ON THE RIVOTS: DISTRIBUTE YOUR COOKWARE UNIFORMLY
AROUND THE RACK AND GRID.
