General Information Your FERRET WiFi CFWF50A is an IP67 rated compact wireless rechargeable inspection camera designed to help you see and work in dark confined spaces. The Cable Ferret Company’s commitment to ongoing product and quality improvement means that the specifications are subject to change without notice.
Camera Unit CFWF50A The on/off switch and the USB Type-C charging socket are located at the back of the camera behind the screw-on aluminium cap. To maintain the camera’s IP67 rating, the camera must not be disassembled. There are no user serviceable items inside the camera and disassembly will void the warranty. There is a rubber O-ring on the body of the camera that provides a seal for the back cap that in turn protects the on/off switch and USB charge socket.
Turn On/Off – Slide the switch at the rear of the camera to turn the camera on or off. When turned on the front LEDs will illuminate and a rear power indication LED will also illuminate. Charge – Connect the supplied power supply. While the camera is charging the red LED at the rear will illuminate. Once fully charged the red LED at the rear will turn off.
Gooseneck Point the FERRET camera in any direction with the addition of the flexible gooseneck. It’s approximately 150mm long (6”) and can attach to fish sticks (push pull rods). Rod/Hook/Magnet Connect the 150mm (6”) rod to the front of the camera and use the hook or magnet to pull back a cable or retrieve a metallic object. Thread Adaptors The Ferret camera thread is ¼”-20UNC.

FAQs 1. I can’t connect or see the camera when I search on Bluetooth? The Ferret WiFi has a built in WiFi hotspot. No other network is needed and the camera does not connect via Bluetooth. 2. The camera is not turning on immediately. Is it OK? The camera takes about 2 seconds to boot and power on. The LEDs will be illuminated by default each time the camera is powered on. 3.
Important Information – Li-Ion Batteries The FERRET camera contains a Li-Ion battery. For optimal battery life; Do not store the camera while the battery is flat, do not store the camera in temperatures of over 35°C (95°F) and if the camera is not being used, top up the charge every 6 months.
