1. Configure the Model 3155 as follows:
Function: Square wave
Frequency: 1.000 MHz
Amplitude: 5 V
Remote Commands: :RES
:OUTP ON
:FUNC:SHAP SQU
:FREQ 10e6
:VOLT 5
2. Connect the Model 3155 output to the oscilloscope in-
put. Use the 20 dB attenuator and set the oscilloscope
input impedance to 50O.
3. Set the oscilloscope and verify that the rise and fall
times are less than 10ns. Verify that overshoot and
ringing are less than 5% of amplitude.

1. Connect the Model 3155 output to the distortion ana-
lyzer input.
2. Set the distortion analyzer to distortion measurements,
set the Model 3155 frequency setting, and verify the
distortion reading as below.
