Astronics Test Systems Operation 3-39
Each channel has two input connectors, and sums the two signals
before amplifying.
Connecting the
3202A/
3202A Signal
Amplifier
3201A Single-channel Amplifier: U
se an external coaxial cable to
connect the 3152B output to the 3201A input. You may use either of
the two 3201A input connectors: BNC or SMB.
If you connect
signals to both connectors, t
hen the 3201A/3202A will amplify the
sum of the signals. If you are amplifying only one signal, l
eave the
unused connector open (unconnected).
3202A Dual-channel Amplifier: Use
an external coaxial cable to
connect the 3152B output to either of the two 3202
A channels. Use
either the BNC or SMB connector for Channel
1. Use either of the
two SMB connectors for Channel 2.
If you connect signals to both
connectors of the same channel, then the 3201A/3202A will amplify
the sum of the signals. Leave all unused con
nectors open
(unconnected).
Controlling
the
3201A/3202A Output
The 3201A/3202A amplifies its input signals and provides the result
at its output connector at all times. There are no commands or
different states for the 3201A/3202A.
