INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Fixtures must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes. Proper grounding is required
for safety. THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CODE BY A PERSON
FAMILIAR WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED.
WARNING: Make certain power is OFF before installing or maintaining xture.

MOUNTING
Fixture should be located on wall or suspended and not
be recessed. Fixture cannot be mounted upside down in
wet locations. For more secure installation, lag bolt box to
mounting surface using Mounting Ears, if applicable.
1. Pull eld wires into the box or to VPCAP and connect to
the supplied xture leads.
2. Remove socket holder assembly and make connections
in the VPCAP.
3. Connect wires as shown in wiring section.
4. Re-attach the socket holder assembly using non-captive
screws (under gasket) provided.
5. Seal around the threads with teon tape and thread
xture onto the conduit using a wrench to tighten.
6. Install the lamp, globe and guard.
7. Seal all holes, plugs and conduit entrances with
weatherproof silicone sealant.

LAMP INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Prior to installing, check that the lamp is
the correct wattage. Observe lamp manufacturer’s
recommendations on lamp operation, ballast type and
burning positions.
1. Disconnect power. Make sure xture and lamp are cool
enough to touch.
2. Open xture by unscrewing guard and globe from
xture.
3. Fully insert the lamp into the socket.
4. Replace globe and guard.
