in a NIOSH-approved system. Any NIOSH certification
appearing on 3M components is strictly limited to use in
an approved air system and only in full accordance with the
specifications and limitations under said approval. NIOSH
certifies complete assemblies only, not sub-assemblies.
Note: 3M will be transitioning all
headtops that are currently used with
the W-series valves to the V-series
valves (page 26). While we continue
to support the W-series with spare
parts and accessories, we encourage
new users to purchase the V-series
valves. Current users can contact
3M or their local sale representative
for additional information.
