Classic Air-Cooled MIG Gun Conversion Instructions
These instructions convert a Tweco
®
Professional MIG Gun to a Tweco Classic Professional MIG Gun.
Read and follow these instructions carefully.
1.DisconnectMIGGunfrommachine.

2.Removegunhanger,handle(bothhalves)
andtrigger.
3.PlacetheMIGGunassemblyinsidethe
bottomhandlehalfandconfirmthatyour
strainreliefisinsidethehandlehalf.

4.Mountthewireconnectorstothenewtrigger
andplacethetriggerinsidethehandlehalf.

5.Laythetophandlehalfinplaceonthebottom
halfandbegininsertingscrews.

6.PlacetheMIGGunhangerinpositionand
tightenallscrews.

7.MIGGunisreadyforuse.
136 Clamp Location
NOTE:
Do not remove 136 cable clamp unless
necessary. Replacement cable clamps 136
2060-2690 are available.
Also, a cable clamp installation tool is
available - 136TOOL 2060-2691 if you repair
MIG Guns often.
