Iron Pans
• Professional chefs have long known the secret of the iron
pan:
Its the material!
• Pans from iron display the unique characteristics required
for searing, frying and roasting.
• But like every thing else that’s special, a professional iron
pan needs some extra special care and attention.
• Iron pans are suitable for use on all types of cooker
(electric, ceramic, gas and induction).
Before first use
• The corrosion-protective layer of wax must first be removed.
To do this fill a sink or a bowl with hot water, add some
washing up liquid and leave the RÖSLE Iron Pan to soak for
a few minutes. Then clean the wax off thoroughly using a
sponge or a washing up brush.
• Never put the pan into the dishwasher for cleaning as rust
spots may result.
• Allow the iron pan to dry thoroughly.
• When heating up an iron pan never use the maximum
temperature setting – 75 % is generally sufficient.
