1. Place the rear bottom log (#2) on the back of the grate and center it side to side. Be sure that the notches
in the bottom of the log rest securely over the grate fi ngers. There must be a clearance between the rear
log and the pilot assembly located on the right side of the burner. See Fig. 9-1 and 9-2. Place the front
bottom log (#1) on the front part of the grate and center it side to side. Be sure that the notches in the
bottom and front of the log rest securely over the grate fi ngers. See Fig. 9-2.
2. Place the middle logs (#3 and #4) so that they
rest on the bottom logs as shown in Fig. 9-3.
Be sure that the middle logs rest securely o
ver
the grooves and notches located on the bottom
logs.
PLACEMENT OF MIDDLE AND TOP LOGS
3. Place the left and right top logs (#5 and #6) so
that they rest on the bottom logs as shown in Fig.
9-4. Be sure that the top logs rest securely over
the grooves and notches located on the bottom
logs. Complete log placement by securing the
top center log (#7) over the grooves and notches
located on the middle logs.
