Common Operations
4. Use the arrow buttons to find and select the Destination, or the location to which the patient or asset is
to be transferred.
5. Use the Increase or Decrease arrows to select the amount of time required for the transfer.
6. Click Tr a ns f er .
7. A dialog box appears showing the patient’s or asset’s name, the amount of time allowed to transfer the
patient or asset, and the destination.
If the Transfer is for a Wander Management transmitter, Pendant, Fall Monitoring or Incontinence
device, the transfer occurs immediately.
8. Click OK.
As soon as the patient's or asset’s transmitter passes through a protected zone that belongs to the selected
designation, the system recognizes that the transfer was successful and the Transfer completes.
To reset a transfer duration time
1. Click Tr a ns f er on the toolbar.
2. If necessary, use your proximity card or magnetic/barcode card or enter your Login and Password.Press
Enter or click OK.
The Tr a n s f e r window appears (Figure 3.10 on page 64). Patients or assets that currently exist in the
census are listed in the window.
3. Use the arrow buttons to find and select the patient or asset whose transfer duration time is to be reset.
4. Use the Increase or Decrease arrows to select the new time needed to transfer the patient or asset.
5. Click Reset Duration.
A dialog box appears showing the patient or asset name and the number of minutes that the transfer is
extended.
6. Click OK.
