Chapter 3: Using the Software
60 Series 6.0 Software (0510-1065-A) - User Guide
To cancel a discharge
If the discharge is for an alarming band transmitter, you can cancel the discharge before the discharge time expire.
1. Click Discharge on the toolbar.
2. If necessary, use your proximity card or magnetic/barcode card or enter your Login and Password then
press Enter or click OK.
The Discharge window appears (Figure 3.8 on page 58). Patients, assets or alarming band transmitters
that currently exist in the census are listed in the window.
3. Use the arrow buttons to find and select the patient or asset whose discharge is to be canceled. Multiple
patients or asset can be selected for canceling.
4. Click Cancel.
A dialog box appears indicating that the discharge for the selected patient or asset has been canceled.
5. Click OK.
Transmitter is no longer communicating with the system
The following dialog box appears when a transmitter is no longer communicating with the system and a
Discharge attempt is made.
1. Follow the steps outline in the dialog box.
2. Click OK.
NOTE: If the unit is configured for immediate discharge, you will be unable to cancel the
discharge.
