How to Respond
Ensure patient safety. 1.
Move the Infant and Baby Check transmitters out of close proximity. 2.
Clear the alarm at the computer by selecting the Event Cause. 3.
Use the Clearing Device to Erase the Baby Check transmitter’s 4.
incorrect Link.
Verify the identity of the Baby Check and infant then re-link the 5.
Baby Check and the correct Infant transmitters.
Common Causes
There is a problem linking the Infant transmitter to a Baby Check
transmitter because the Infant has already been linked to another
Baby Check transmitter

Baby Check Transmitter Battery is Dead
1. A new Baby Check Transmitter button is pressed but no LED
indicators flash. The battery may be dead.
2. Call Tech Support for a Return Merchandise Authorization
(RMA) and return transmitter.
