Desired handlebar seng
As a rule of thumb for determing the distance between
the handlebar and the saddle, you should be able to
touch the handlebars with your st while you hold
your elbow at the point of the saddle. Note that this
rule of thumb should be seen as a guideline, because
this seng is very personal. Note also that a too large
distance between the saddle and the handlebars, can
oen cause neck, back, and shoulder problems. We
recommend that you adjust the saddle and handlebars
to your wishes together with your dealer.
Adjusng the handlebars
With a xed Ahead handlebar stem you can lt the
handlebars by loosening the Allen bolt on the front. The
height of the handlebars can be adjusted by loosening
the Allen Bolts at the handlebar stem, and place Ahead
spacers or an Ahead extension pin.
With the quick release Ahead handlebar stem you can
adjust the handlebars in dierent direcons, by sliding
the lile lever on the le down to pull up the big lever.
With the quick release handlebar stem you can adjust
the height of the handlebars by, with the big lever
up, lng the handlebars down to less than a straight
angle. Aer this, the Allen bolt is visible and accessible.
Aer loosening this bolt together with the bolts at
the handlebar stem, you can adjust the height of the
handlebars by placing Ahead spacers or an Ahead
extension pin.
*Aenon! Do not forget to ghten the bolts aer
