Failure codes
When ‘ERR’ appears in the screen, there is an error
with the speed sensor. Check if the speed sensor at the
rear wheel is adjusted correctly. The magnet may be a
maximum of 15 mm away from the sensor and needs to
be at either one of the two notches.
If a motor symbol with ‘HOT’ appears in the top le of
the screen, the temperature of the motor is too high.
Let the motor cool down. Cooling down of the motor
is also possible by connuing to cycle without motor
assistance.
If ‘CHANGE DISPLAY BATTERY’ appears in the screen
aer switching it on, you can change the baery of
the display. For this you need to remove the 4 phillips
screws on the back of the display, aer which you
can turn the baery cap open with a (new) baery.
The baery is of the type CR2032. Aer replacing the
display baery you can screw the parts back together
as they were. For removing the display from the handle
bars it is not neccessary to remove other parts (grip or
brakes) from the handle bars.
It is possible that other problems occur. In that case,
be in contact with your dealer soon so that a potenal
repair can be executed fast.
