Baery & Charging
• It may happen that same bicycles purchased at the
same me give a dierent range. New baeries
provide minimal their specied values. There can
be a slight variaon, so it is possible that one of the
bikes performs above specicaons.
• With long-term storage, place the baery in a
shady, cool and dry place.
Never connect the posive contact point of the
baery to the negave contact point.
Do not expose the baery to high
temperatures (> 50 °C), such as heat and re.
It is not allowed to use or recharge a damaged
baery. Please contact your dealer immediately
in case the baery is damaged.
Do not open or disassemble the baery.
Consult your dealer in case the baery is not
working properly.
Further informaon on your baery
• The baery is sealed and therefore resistant to
rain. So you can use your bike good in bad weather.
However, try not to expose the baery to large
amounts of water.
• The baery pack can, under ideal condions, be
fully charged and discharged around 1000 - 1500
mes. The performance will slowly decline by lots
of use, and eventually the baery pack should be
replaced.
• The performance of the baery will decrease at
low temperatures. The referred range is opmal at
a measured temperature of approximately +/-25
°C. The guideline is that the capacity decreases by 1
% at a 1 °C temperature drop.
• The capacity will increase at least the rst 10
charging cycles (e.g. up to appoximately 1000 km
with the 625 Wh baery) and only then reach its
fully specied capacity range.
• The environmental burden is not heavy, electricity
is part of clean forms of energy. Just like any other
baery, your baery should be submied in order
to be recycled at the end of the life cycle (look for a
drop-o point in your area).
