Controlling the Walk Assist
Use the Walk Assist feature to easily take the bicycle
by the hand, for example when taking it out of
underground storage. Stand rmly next to the bike and
hold your hands on the handlebars. If a brake lever is
present, keep at least one hand on the brake where
the brake-circuit breaker (interrupon of the motor
assistance) is located. This is generally is the le brake
lever. Keep the ‘PLUS’ buon pressed while rmly
holding the handlebars. The engine will start aer a few
seconds. Once you release the ‘PLUS’ buon the Walk
Assist funcon switches itself o. The Walk Assist has a
speed of 6 km/h (no load).
Bicycle lights
Press the ‘ON/OFF’ buon to turn on the bicycle lights.
Press ‘ON/OFF’ again to turn it o again.
The lighng on the Performance RD10 Speed
remains switched on at all mes.
USB connecon
The USB connecon on the back of the display can be
used to provide power to devices such as smartphones
and navigaon devices. It can also be used when the
system is o, if the baery is sll on the bike.
Reseng the Trip data
By pressing and holding the ‘MINUS’ buon for two
seconds you can reset the trip distance. This also
resets the logged maximum speed and mer. If the trip
distance reaches 500 km it will be automacally reset.
Sengs menu
By pressing and holding the ‘SET’ buon for 2 seconds
you can open the sengs menu. By pressing ‘SET’
shortly you can switch between the dierent sengs,
with the ‘PLUS’ and ‘MINUS’ buons you can changes
the values. Leave the sengs menu by holding ‘SET’
buon.
SET 1: Seng the speed limiter
With the ‘PLUS’ and ‘MINUS’ you can adjust the speed
limiter. With this you can limit the maximum speed in
which the motor provides power. This can be handy if
you prefer to drive on lower speeds.
